Every Thursday, Teens Have Visions 2 mentors pre-teen girls at a local Colquitt County elementary school as part of our 8-week program focused on personal growth and development.
Through this mentorship, students are learning to set SMART goals, build self-confidence, and develop strong character. This week, we introduced journaling as a powerful tool to help our mentees manage stress, reflect on their experiences, and stay focused on their goals. Journaling provides a creative and safe space for them to express their thoughts, emotions, and progress as they continue their journey toward self-discovery and empowerment.

Every Friday, Teens Have Visions 2 Inc., Founder Michele Smith provides life skills, engaging workshops, and strategies for success to teen girls during Club Advisory at C. A. Gray Junior High of Colquitt County.

Our Youth Advocate Leaders did an amazing job reaching back to the youth on today. This was their first year participating in Teen Maze and it was such an honor. They had the opportunity to educate, engage, and empower so many teen girls.

Last year, some of our teens girls at Teens Have Visions 2 had the opportunity to attend the Proclamation for Willie Bell Irvin-Partridge, one of 855 Battalion forming the 6888th Central Postal Directory during World War II. She was right from Moultrie, GA. Our teen girls had opportunity to see 6888 by Tyler Perry in December 2024.
We are overly excited to have been able to celebrate her 100th birthday June 16, 2023 with her daughter Brenda Patridge-Brown, but even more excited to see the book that will be release in honor of her mother. Our girls are learning so much about the history of our very community.

This year, Teens Have Visions 2 proudly partnered with The TALK Fall Break Camp to provide a series of free educational workshops for youth in our community.
Day 1 focused on life skills and hygiene education, where participants engaged in hands-on demonstrations and a fun braiding activity. Each student received a personal hygiene kit as a reminder to practice self-care and confidence.
Day 2 centered on life-saving skills, including Hands-Only CPR and AED training. Each participant took home a first aid kit, reinforcing the importance of being prepared in emergencies.
We are grateful for the opportunity to inspire, educate, and equip the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
This year, Teens Have Visions 2 proudly partnered with local community leader Makita Phillips for our back to school teen braid workshop.
Makita, for taking the time to pour into the lives of our teen girls today. Your words, energy, and encouragement truly made an impact. Your presence helped inspire confidence, purpose, and motivation as they prepare to take on the new school year.
We’re grateful for your support and look forward to more moments of empowerment together!
Each teen gathered with purpose—to learn, connect, and share their passions for the future. Your support made that possible. We extend our deepest thanks to every parent, volunteer, and contributor who made this experience meaningful. Every girl left with a school supply bag and a hygiene kit—generously donated by our community partners.

Teens Have Visions 2 had a wonderful time participating in today’s Special Olympics Festivities! We were thrilled to spread joy and laughter at our “Bubble Station”, where participants enjoyed hands-on fun and smiles all around.

We’re thrilled to share that Teens Have Visions 2 recently celebrated our first Cake Decorating Workshop, and it was a sweet success!
This hands-on experience introduced teens to creative decorating themes and techniques, allowing them to explore their artistic sides in a fun and supportive environment. Each participant received a certificate of participation, a gift bag, and most importantly—an exceptional opportunity to create memories to cherish for a lifetime.
Our enriched life skills workshops are thoughtfully designed to help teens thrive, while developing both personal and professional skills that will serve them well into the future.
We’re proud to continue empowering our youth through creativity, confidence, and community.
